DC Finest Collection: The 2026-2027 Release Schedule

Years ago, Marvel launched its Epic Collection, offering full stories at an affordable price. You can choose your favourite heroes and pick up a complete run and arc to access both old and new stories, including some classics and some that have been forgotten. It was and still is a massive success. Now, DC Comics has decided to follow suit with its own line of books: DC Finest.

Each DC Finest book covers a specific character, team, event, or genre from across DC history. Depending on the chronology, a volume dedicated to ‘Robin’ could feature Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne or Jason Todd. The Green Lantern volumes will feature stories starring Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, Alan Scott, and others, depending on the era. One moment you’ll be enjoying classic Silver Age adventures with Barry Allen, and the next you’ll be following Wally West into danger in the Modern Age.

Each volume is around 600 pages long and collects around 25 issues or more. These include main series issues, annuals, tie-in,s and any other stories that contribute to the main storyline. This makes it easy to jump into a character or series without needing the previous volumes. Like the Epic Collection, the volumes are not released in chronological order as DC Comics jumps around different eras. Over time, the line is designed to fill in all the gaps and provide a comprehensive chronological reading experience.

Don’t miss a volume in the DC Finest Collection thanks to our release schedule!

Searching for a previous volume of DC Finest? DC Comics will have release 45 volumes of DC Finest at the end of 2025, delivering stories set between 1938 and 2009. Find them all in one place and in chronological order! Follow our guide:

  1. I would appreciate an omnibus of the TOMAHAWK series from the 50’s and 60’s before I pass on. You have so much good quality comics that you ought to publish at least one collection of the Tomahawk series for your old fans who are getting up in age.

  2. Great list, some really excellent books to pick up such the swamp thing, new teen titans, green lantern etc. Hope dc finest finishes off the golden age JSA though. And hopefully more genre volumes like teen / crime / funny animals / humour as well as the Atom, etc (the minor characters that are often overlooked in reprints)

  3. I agree with Rick Croucher’s comments about Tomahawk. Also, another Science Fiction volume would be great. The first volume contained many Captain Comet and Tommy Tomorow stories which I had never seen and were enjoyable. I would like to see another volume with some Space Ranger stories in it. Also, we have seen some war stories featuring Sgt Rock. Perhaps some more stories that included Mademoiselle Marie would be appreciated.
